All items are available for pickup at the farm, or for a nominal fee, delivery to the Lemore and Handford area.

You-Pick Flower Events
Join us for a delightful day at Island Acres Flower Farm, where you can wander through vibrant rows of blooms and hand-pick your favorite flowers.
Our private You-Pick events are available exclusively for ticket holders. Tickets are $25 each and limited to 20 participants per event. We provide all the clippers, jars, and vases you need—though you are welcome to bring your own! Parking on our Lemoore property is clearly marked, our fields are completely kid-friendly, and a restroom is available on-site. Because our Central Valley fields have zero shade, the California sun gets intense quickly! We highly recommend wearing sunscreen, sunglasses, a wide-brimmed hat, and dressing in lightweight layers. Please wear closed-toe “farm shoes” like old sneakers or boots; avoid sandals or heels, as the ground can be uneven, dusty, or muddy from irrigation. Don’t forget a water bottle to stay hydrated, and bring a fully charged phone for family photos among the blooms!
To keep our farm safe and beautiful, please follow three simple ground rules:
- Watch for our busy pollinators; our friendly bees and butterflies won’t bother you if left alone.
- For the safety of our three kids and crops, please leave all pets and dogs at home.
- Stay strictly on the designated walking paths so you don’t accidentally step on our baby plants or automated irrigation lines.
We love when you capture memories among our blooms, and casual snapshot-taking on your phone or camera is highly encouraged during U-Pick visits!
Need to ask some of your photographers for example photos they’ve shot here; it helps to set the scene. We can use more stock photos if we need to, but photos of your place, and photos of the photographers in action (like a photo of the photographer taking pictures) would be best. A nice little collage would go here in this space.

Capture stunning portraits amidst our picturesque flowers. Our farm offers exclusive access for professional photographers to create unforgettable images in a serene setting.
Photography session hours are from 4pm-8pm, by appointment only. Please contact us in advance to check availability and reserve your private, dedicated time slot. After scheduling, we will contact you to verify your appointment, provide arrival instructions, and complete payment. In case of severe weather or other emergency, we will work with you to reschedule.

Our Journey to Blooming Success
Our story began on our home property, in Lemoore, with a simple goal: to grow premium, field-fresh flowers that connect our community to the seasons. As full-time teachers raising three kids, our days are beautifully busy—but we always find our peace in the soil.
Island Acres Flower Farm put down roots in the most unlikely of places: an old, hard-packed tractor parking lot on our land. Where there used to be nothing but gravel and heavy machinery, we—Taylor and Morghan—saw potential. We spent the last three years breaking up the gravel, restoring the soil, and learning the unique rhythms of Central Valley weather. Through a lot of sweat, family teamwork, and regenerative care, we turned that compacted parking space into a thriving paradise of blooms.
